Veritas Press: History and Bible Curriculum Review

by Sharon Stoudt
(Philadelphia, PA)

Classical Christian Homeschool Curriculum

Classical Christian Homeschool Curriculum

I use most of Veritas' materials suggestions, but my favorite is their own history & Bible programs. We just completed our 3rd year using these homeschool programs, and my daughter finishes each year saying it was her favorite year so far.

It is a literature-based, classical approach. The Bible program comes from a reformed perspective, and that bias does show, but I wouldn't think it’s insurmountable by others.

Because it is literature-based, it is a bit pricy. To save money, you can find most materials used -- or perhaps even better, take advantage of Veritas' price matching policy. It has to be the same exact book (same cover, ISBN, etc.), but so long as the price you find is for the same book brand new, they will price match it for you!

I find a lot of the titles at used prices, but with VP's price-matching, I get them new instead, and am pleased to support Veritas Press with my business while doing so.
