Using ACE Homeschool Curriculum in Papua New Guinea
by Michelle
(Papua New Guinea)
We're living in Papua New Guinea. My son age 9 was on the ACE system at a school in South Africa. He's been in a regular school since January and I just feel that the ACE system is of more benefit. My daughter age 7, is battling to settle at school and I'm thinking of home schooling her on the ACE system.
Who can I contact to get information and prices etc. Also my husband is in construction and we move often and I really don't know if its good to keep moving them to school after school, they both seem a bit anxious and unsettled. They also don't receive any Christian education at school and they miss that.
I would like to get a tutor in for them and I will assist. Would I or the tutor need training? Would love as much information as possible please. Kind regards, Michelle
Hi Michelle,
If you are looking for teacher support, etc., you will want to check out Lighthouse Christian Academy - its ACE's online distance learning school.
The ACE curriculum is set up for independent learning - lessons shouldn't require a lot of teacher dependency, so you will probably be able to do well on your own.
If you want to order just the ACE curriculum, ACE has several overseas warehouses. You will find the one for Papua New Guinea on the ACE Global Support page (http://www.aceministries.com/global/?content=asiaPacific).
