With five children all of which are special needs, I thought I would never have the time to commit to homeschooling one of them who was failing public school and rapidly. To my surprise we stumbled across Time4learning online homeschool curriculum and have been thankful ever since.
My son has a much easier time processing their curriculum and the website is not overwhelming. It has given him the ability to take charge of his own learning and accountability, but gives me the added peace that I can go in and check on everything he has done.
When I had questions, T4L answered them within hours, when I had a more in depth question, someone from T4L actually called me personally. This assured me they were paying attention.
My son had to redo 2nd grade after his time in public school, this took about five months through T4L then we were able to move on to 3rd grade whenever he was ready. I highly recommend this program… it is a very affordable, nice middle of the road program. At this price you can certainly round out the curriculum with some hands on learning, books and field trips and have a good time at an affordable cost. It is inexpensive enough to try and there is no long term commitment, especially important if you have a learning disabled child and need to give it a try temporarily.
