Teaching Textbooks/Algebra I and II Homeschool Math Curriculum

by Cheryl
(Newnan, GA, USA)

I really like Teaching Textbooks homeschool math curriculum and used it for my daughter in the 7th and 8th grade.

The course comes with the workbook and CD's that have an instructor explaining the lesson and giving examples. There are actual tests and a solution CD. This is of great help to the student to make sure that there is no question of how to work the problem.

The only drawback to the Algebra I & II courses that I found is that I wish they also included some basic geometry and geometric figures work like the Saxon course. I ended up supplementing what I thought was missing.

All in all, it is an excellent course and does not need a parent that is great at math to explain lessons. It is sort of expensive, but is very comprehensive. You can also find it used, which would help with the cost.
