Teaching Textbooks Homeschooling Math Success

Teaching Textbooks homeschooling math curriculum changed the way my daughter felt about math. She went from hating math and not feeling like she understood it, to being very confident in the subject and proclaiming it to be her favorite and we have Teaching Textbooks to thank for that.

The lectures are very easy to understand; however, if she doesn't understand a concept, she can just go back and watch the lesson again and again. The grading is done for me and scores are kept in the lesson book on the computer. We began using Teaching Textbooks in 5th grade and have been very pleased with it for the three years we have used it.

This year we will be using Pre-Algebra which does vary from the lower grades slightly. There are still CD-ROMs in which the lesson materials are presented; however, actual work is then done on paper, not in the computer as in younger grades. This will be a change for us, but we aren't worried because we have had such a positive experience with the program.

One huge bonus with this program is that it can be re-sold. If you have reached the maximum number of times loading it on a computer, you just call their 800 number and they will unlock it for you, no questions asked. To me, this illustrates they are a company who understands the homeschool family and the fact so many are surviving on single incomes. I could rave on and on about our positive experiences with this program...
