Homeschool Math Curriculum Review

Eliminate homeschooling headaches when teaching high school math at home. Teaching Textbooks homeschool math curriculum offers easy to follow, step-by-step CD-based courses…

I began using ABeka, switched to Saxon, then found the best of all homeschool math curriculum... teaching textbooks! Teaching Textbooks is a CD-based curriculum that my children use on the computer. The homeschool math curriculum includes teaching CDs that the kids can follow step by step in a clear way.

I love the in depth ways it teaches; easy enough for the older children follow it themselves and it doesn't leave important information out.

I love the fact that it gives the solution to ALL the problems and shows them step-by-step. The solution CDs also includes each answer step-by-step, so you can follow along and see where you went wrong.

I have used Teaching Textbooks homeschool math curriculum for three years and love it! I have used this with algebra and geometry and like if far better than other curricula. It doesn't leave out important steps like Saxon does, which was a big plus, since algebra was not my best subject. You can't go wrong with teaching textbooks.

Great review, Judy, thanks so much for sharing! Your input will be very helpful to others who struggle with teaching or learning math. Blessings, Heather

Teaching Textbook is a Good Supplement
by: Nita

After researching different books and curriculum's like a lunatic for high school math I found that merging Teaching Textbooks with any of them would give my kids the diverse math curriculum that will help them thrive. I use their main math curriculum that gives them a broad view of Alg 1 & 2, Geometry (especially in the areas that TT doesn't address) and it has helped them greatly to enjoy math yet learn it from different perspectives.
