Teaching Textbooks Homeschool Math Curriculum

Homeschool Math Curriculum for 4th Grade - High School

Instead of nagging her son to do his homeschool math lessons, this intuitive mom found the perfect homeschool math curriculum that motivates him; now he loves math!

We began using Teaching Textbooks Pre-Algebra homeschool math curriculum, which comes with a textbook, plus lecture and practice discs, with my reluctant reader in the summer of 8th grade.

He used to hate to read and do his homeschool math lessons, but since Teaching Textbooks gives you a choice to either read the lesson, or listen and watch, he now loves to do math! The video teacher explains with in-depth lectures, along with step-by-step explanations for each of the practice problems.

He gets ahead whenever he has a chance. The beauty of this homeschool math curriculum is that he can hear the explanations as many times as needed, until he gets the concept.
Also, the CD's can be accessible at any time, even late evenings.

When my son gets a problem wrong, he is able to look at the solutions CD's, where, again, the teacher will take him step by step to show how the answer was achieve. Beautiful! We love Teaching Textbooks!

Great review, Lili; thanks for sharing about Teaching Textbooks. What a wonderful, time-saving resource, especially for higher level math! Happy homeschooling, Heather :)
