For a student who may have difficulty with reading comprehension, Teaching Textbooks Algebra 1 homeschooling math course might be the perfect solution.

Each lesson is presented via a computer cd. A whiteboard is used to show the problems. The teacher is not actually seen - you hear his voice and see his notes on the board. After watching the lesson, the student can try five practice problems. Full solutions are given for these problems. Now the student is ready to do the 25 lesson exercises. These are not done on the computer but in a notebook.

Teaching Textbooks is expensive but may be worth for students who have difficulty learning from reading a textbook.
