Teach Your Child to Read in 100 Easy Lessons?

Not-so-Easy Homeschool Reading Curriculum

Not-so-Easy Homeschool Reading Curriculum

I loved the step-by-step approach of Teach Your Child to Read in 100 Easy Lessons, but... this homeschool reading curriculum just didn't work for us.

The beginning is ridiculous, it's so slow, and then it picks up pace too quickly without review. We bogged down around lesson twenty, and I'm not sure we'll be returning to this reading/phonics curriculum.

Thanks for sharing what you didn't like about Teach Your Child to Read in 100 Easy Lessons. This homeschool reading curriculum didn't work for us either, yet many home educators love it. I am sure others will find your thoughts helpful. Blessings, Heather :)
