My daughter LOVED the Teach Your Child to Read in 100 Easy Lessons book! I have to admit, I didn't believe it would work, but she was reading short words in just days! We are new to home schooling and I was terrified I wouldn't be good enough to teach my daughter! But, using TYCTR I gained so much confidence! The step by step directions even tell you exactly what to say to your child. We finished two lessons a day and my six year old who hasn't started 1st grade yet, is reading at least at the 2nd grade level! I highly recommend this book to anyone with children just learning to read, or just having some trouble. It was so nice to see the excitement in her face everyday when I would say to her "It's time for reading!" This book truly is a Godsend!!
