Some set-up is required. Although much easier for parents, it is slightly lacking academically. I found that my daughter required some extra work to be ready for the state required achievement tests. You are able to use the program for five children, so it's good for families with lots of kids, or, to pass on to another family. It is a little expensive for a data based program, but since it is reusable I consider it a good value.
