Time-Saving Sonlight Homeschool Curriculum
I completed the P3/4 Sonlight homeschool curriculum last year, and was very impressed with it. This year I am using the P4/5 with Readers K with my four year old. I really love the curriculum because it is a literature based curriculum that is really fun for the kids, and fun to use as a teacher. I have worked with children in daycare and in elementary schools for over ten years. This approach is different than anything that I was used to. I find that it is very beneficial and my daughter is learning so much! I do supplement certain books with books that I already own ... to save money. This is very easy to do! The library also works great with this program. What I like the most is the time that I save not having to plan out lessons for each day/week. This gives me more time with my family and children. I do not have to fear that there are gaps in my lessons. I trust Sonlight, and recommend this homeschool curriculum to all homeschooling families that I meet. Thanks for sharing Tiffany! Saving money is important, but so is saving time and as busy home educators, we don't have any time to waste. It took me awhile to learn that lesson. Sometimes I spend more time trying to save a few bucks and end up wasting the precious little time that I have. I am thankful for companies like Sonlight who have put together curriculum resources that are easy to use, engaging and all laid out for busy parents.
