Sonlight Homeschool Curriculum Level One

We absolutely loved Sonlight homeschool curriculum. My daughter found it fun and exciting as well as a personal challenge to do all the assignments before her brothers could finish theirs! (They were taking a higher level of Sonlight!) She really enjoyed the science program and while we personally skipped the creationist aspects, or only touched on them lightly, the labs and hands-on part of the science was great! We have been using Sonlight for a couple of years, but not at the lower levels. My boys started Sonlight at level 4 and 6 and have moved up to the high school curriculums but this was the first lower level we used. I would highly recommend Sonlight homeschool curriculum to all families that want a quality education for their children. While Sonlight is a little more expensive than some of the competition, it is well worth it! You can cut costs a lot by buying the books used on Craigslist or Ebay, but the consumables and teacher guides are best purchased straight from Sonlight. We used the Saxon math option with our program and also found it easier to buy it directly from Sonlight new. We really got a lot out of this program and the best part is if you have more than one child, the younger ones can move into the older children's curriculum when they are old enough saving tons of money!
