I love Shurley English homeschool curriculum because it's all laid out for me. The lessons are scripted; sometimes I stick to the script, sometimes I change it up a little. My kids don't do well will new information just being read to them, so I change it a little by asking them questions and getting them involved.

I'm using level 2 with my 2nd & 1st grader and they both love it also. They love taking out their English workbooks, going through all the jingles, and they both love classifying sentences everyday.

We spend about 20 minutes every day in Shurley English and I couldn't be more pleased with what they have learned so far in just five weeks. I paid about $70 for the teacher's manual & two student workbooks and I feel it is definitely worth it. I will gladly pay that every year if the results continue to be this great!
