Seton Home Schooling Review

Seton Home Schooling Curriculum Review

Seton Home Schooling Curriculum Review

Busy parents seeking accredited, traditional Catholic school curriculum will love Seton home schooling program. It works well for large families too, since Seton has been around long enough to know the best methods to use to help them. Using paper lessons plans and instructor's guides, as well as information, lesson plans & testing via the internet, Seton has streamlined the home school process!

How long have you used it?
We have used Seton for four years, going on five years this fall.

What grades did you use it for?
K, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th.

What do you like most about it?
I do not have to plan my own curriculum, and since I am not a very organized person, this is a tremendous help to me. Not to mention that I can spend more time with my children during non-school hours since Seton has done all the lesson planning for me. I am also completely confident that Seton is providing my children with a "top-notch" education and there are no "holes" in their schooling, due to a lack of organization/error on my part. Seton home schooling students are incredibly well-prepared to enter the local high school, or should I chose to continue home schooling them for high school, Seton offers a high caliber high school program as well.

Is it affordable? Why?
It costs less than $2,000 to educate my four children, compared to the local Catholic school charging $3,000 to educate ONE child, so I would say it is a great deal.

Do you have any cost-cutting tips, etc. to share when using this curriculum?
When enrolling multiple children, make sure to let Seton know which books you already have in advance. They will deduct this amount off the tuition.

Christine, thanks for reviewing Seton home schooling curriculum and giving parents get an inside look at how this curriculum can work for their family. I know families looking for Catholic home school curriculum will find your thoughts very helpful! Blessings, Heather :)
