Seascape Private School Review

Overwhelmed home educator finds the perfect homeschool program; read her Seascape Private School review to find out how she went from stressing to blessing...

We enrolled our two children in Seascape Private School two years ago. We took our girls, grades 3 and 5 out of public school because we were unhappy with the school system they were in. At first I tried homeschooling on my own, using an assortment of textbooks, workbooks, and online resources but I ended up spending so many hours planning and scheduling and I was never sure if we did enough and if my children were really progressing and everything. I began to feel overwhelmed and stressed and slightly regretful at starting this homeschooling journey in the first place.

Then when I took the girls on a field trip with a local homeschooling group, one of the parents there told me about Seascape – her son was enrolled and she highly recommended them. So, I called Seascape and spoke with one of their Admissions Advisors and she was great! She really took the time to understand the struggles I was having and to understand my children's strengths and weaknesses. The support included in the Seascape program is wonderful.

With the curriculum, I like that I don't have to plan anything out. Everything is laid out for me in the daily schedule and I know exactly what we need to do each day. But at the same time, students are encouraged to finish their assignments at their own pace so there's never any pressure to get things done by a certain date. We take breaks for field trips and hobbies and my girls get credits for a lot of their extracurricular activities.

As for the cost, I think it's the most reasonable pricing I've found. They offer low, interest free monthly payments which has made things so easy and stress free. When I compare the cost of the various products I was purchasing throughout the year before, to what I receive from Seascape, along with their support (and no planning time for me!), I feel Seascape is worth every penny!

Thanks for sharing a very informative Seascape Private School review, Laura! Other overwhelmed parents will find your story helpful; I appreciate the time you took to help others. Blessings, Heather :)
