Saxon Math Home School Curriculum Review

I have used Saxon Math home school curriculum for my two children, a boy and a girl, since my daughter began homeschooling.

I have used it for Kindergarten through fourth grade.

What I like most about Saxon is that it constantly reviews mathematical skills the child has already learned, while teaching new skills building on that previous knowledge. The early grades emphasize manipulatives, which I feel is invaluable in giving small children a conceptual understanding of math.

Although it is a bit more expensive, I find that I can buy used Saxon Math home school materials on ebay or homeschoolclassifieds.com.
