ROD & STAFF Homeschool Curriculum Review

THE STORY OF GOD'S CHOSEN FAMILY- GRADES 5-8

THE STORY OF GOD'S CHOSEN FAMILY- GRADES 5-8

Are your middle schoolers eager to learn Bible and History? Experience inexpensive educational enjoyment with Rod & Staff homeschool curriculum!

The Story of God's Chosen Family course is both a Bible and History study. We have used this for the past three years with our middle school age students. It is both enjoyable and educational with both boys eager to participate and look up needed verses in the WORD. You will need a KJV or NKJV to understand the historical vocabulary.

We study one lesson a week and review/discuss according to the Teacher's Edition. The student books are write-in/consumable. We have all learned so much about the historical context of the Bible and our interest and desire to read the next chapter and verses is exciting.

I choose to participate with my children each Friday, after they have done the daily work independently. There are a few unit tests to use if you choose.

Altogether each set costs about $20, or less for the younger grades. This is very affordable and I attest to the fun we have had learning, as well as to what the boys have retained. I am also able to keep up with this and three other younger students. They are also able to use past books as resources for other assignments.

I have had several teachers at church comment on how well the older boys know the Bible and they have only completed through grade 6 (King Saul-Old Testament.)

I recommend this highly to any students who are proficient at the Grade 5 reading level.

Thanks for the review, Michelle - helpful for anyone looking for an affordable way to teach multiple kids easily. :)
