Rod and Staff Homeschool Preschool Curriculum

by Jim Gilbert
(Whittier, CA, USA)

R &S Homeschool Preschool Curriculum

R &S Homeschool Preschool Curriculum

We bought the homeschool preschool curriculum from Rod and Staff.

We love the Bible Stories to Read and the coloring book. The rest is hit and miss. Many of the pages in the other workbooks are beyond preschool. Seeing as we learn mostly through play for preschool, however, they're just right for supplementing here and there. There aren't many of the pages that the kids can do independently, but that's all right as long as you're willing to sit with your preschooler.

Overall, I would recommend only the 2 mentioned books. The rest I could have really done without.

Thanks for the curriculum review, Jim! I don't get many from homeschooling dads - I appreciate your thoughts. Blessings, Heather :)

We loved Rod & Staff Preschool Curriculum
by: Anonymous

I used Rod & Staff curriculum for my daughter for preschool. It was great! I let her choose which books and the number of pages she wanted to do. If something was difficult for her we'd wait a couple or few months and try it again. We didn't use the books every day...just when she wanted to. I let her choose the pace so she wouldn't get overwhelmed or burned out with it.
