Rod and Staff Homeschool Curriculum Review
During my second year of homeschool teaching I switched to the Rod & Staff homeschool curriculum and in particular love the Grade 1 Reading Course. I find that the curriculum is very reasonably priced and love that they have a course package set with everything you need. You can request samples of their curriculum to view the lessons first and they have some used books to even help cut costs thru some of their distributors. I found a number of the materials on e-bay that saved money as well. I think one thing that matters to me is that I homeschool for a number of reasons including religious ones and these are all scripture based. There are memory verses, bible questions, etc incorporated into the lessons so kids can learn to read and write hand in hand with memorizing scripture and learning the Bible. I know they have a wide variety of subjects, as well as, music, art, math, etc., and I plan to continue using Rod & Staff homeschool curriculum and materials.
