RightStart Homeschooling Math
We've been using RightStart Math homeschooling math curriculum for the last four years, starting with their Kindergarten program. I had a difficult time selecting a homeschooling math program, and finally settled on RightStart because of how it groups numbers into 5's and uses teaching methods from Singapore. We've been using it ever since, and my daughter loves it! Even I am learning math concepts that I wasn't taught in school (it was more of a "this is the way it is" approach when I went to school), and the "why" of things. I love, love, love the math card games booklet, and would recommend that for anyone who needs to help their child with additional math practice in a fun way. The math card games have everything from addition to telling time to division to fractions and everything in between. RightStart is a thorough, comprehensive homeschooling math program that I would recommend to anyone. RightStart does lack a bit in the story problem arena, so I do supplement some story problems so that my daughter can apply what she's learned, but that is really my only issue with the program.
