Questions About Homeschool Support, PEAH and JoAnn's

by Mrs Rate
(Brandon, FL USA)

Hi, I am homeschooling two of my five children this year (1st grade and 3rd grade). I have already picked my curriculum but am interested in any/all tips you can provide for homeschooling, in general. Is there "membership" for PEAH? If so, is there a fee, and how do I sign up? I saw the place on your site to sign up for e-mails, but I noticed the Jo-Ann Fabric Teacher Appreciation Day is only for those who are members of PEAH. Thanks for clearing all of this up for me.

Answers to Your Questions
by: Heather

Hi,
Thanks so much for posting your questions; I am so sorry it has taken me so long to respond.

I am excited about your decision to homeschool your children; I hope it's going well. Please continue to visit my website often - new information, tips and articles are added regularly.

Regarding your question about PEAH membership: There's no cost to join - it's free. You can keep up-to-date with homeschooling information as well as new homeschool discounts and savings, by signing-up for my newsletter - PEAH's eSavings Bulletin. You also can keep up-to-date with new website posts, curriculum reviews, etc. via PEAH's Facebook Page or by following PEAH (me) on twitter.

PEAH issues homeschool id cards through a safe and secure system we pioneered, for a small fee that helps support what we do.

You can get PEAH's homeschool id cards for your entire family for FREE, by submitting an informative/thorough curriculum review to our site.

Don't want to write a review? When you sign-up for our newsletter, you will receive a special coupon for some terrific savings.

JoAnn's Educator Appreciation Day is for all educators - public, private and home educators. PEAH works on behalf of JoAnn's to notify home educators about the savings they can receive through JoAnn's educator discount program and special appreciation days during the year.

If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
Blessings,
Heather :)
