Common Problems with Homeschooling


Every one encounters some problems with homeschooling at some time or another; although rewarding, teaching a child isn't always easy and raising children is hard work.

As with every worthwhile endeavor, difficulties and hard times will come. Although you may feel like giving up, most problems are not insurmountable.

Joining a local support group will help you immensely.

You will not only find others who share a similar focus and common goal, you will meet parents who have experienced or overcome their own homeschooling problems.

Common Homeschool Problems

Some common problems you may face as a home educator are: choosing the right curriculum for your child, behavior problems, not knowing how to begin, single parent homeschooling, learning difficulties and dealing with friends and family members who do not support you in your homeschooling endeavor.

Free Homeschool Help

If you are encountering problems with homeschooling, I would be happy to provide some help and guidance. Below, you will find some problems that other home educators submitted to my website. If you do not find an answer to your problem, you can submit them to my website and I will try to answer them in a timely manner.

Many of my website visitors are experienced homeschooling parents who are wonderful giving and helpful; often they will provide additional help, information and comments to help you overcome your homeschooling hurdles or answer your questions.

My high school calculus teacher always said, "No question is ever too dumb to ask!" As a result I went from a failing math grade to A+, just by asking questions. :)
