New Texas Homeschool Store Now Open!

I'm writing to talk about a wonderful new homeschool store that has opened its doors in The Woodlands, Tx. It's called The Homeschool House.

The owner, Amy Dupree, is so knowledgeable about the different curriculum that she carries, and has prices that are comparable to other homeschool stores... however, she does something that I haven't run into at any other homeschool store. She allows you to bring in your USED books and curricula and turn them in for store credit to use towards purchasing the things that you need.

She sells the items that you bring in at a discount to other homeschoolers, and you're able to use your store credit to purchase new or used items from her store. The ability to bring in the items that we no longer use at our house, and get credit to purchase the things that I wanted for the new year, has saved our family an incredible amount of money.

I absolutely love that her homeschool store is well organized, has an area set aside for young children to entertain themselves while mom & dad shop, and even has a coffee/cocoa bar set up. There's also a room set up to be able to use as a classroom for co-op's, or rent for a group, or whatever use you might need it for.

Amy is friendly, always makes time to answer questions and help customers, and it's an absolute pleasure to shop and spend time in her store. I definitely recommend it to everyone I run into - parents, teachers, AND homeschoolers.
