Nature is Awesome for Home School Science Discovery

by A Great Home School Mom

Bug Hunting for Home School Science Class

Bug Hunting for Home School Science Class

We use nature for our home school science study. We study everything we find in our yard, park, wildlife trails and other outdoor places.

Whatever insect, arachnid, amphibian or bug, we research it. You would be amazed what you find out and where it draws you to find out more.

My youngest makes a book with pictures we print out or have taken, and writes facts about each picture. While my oldest draws the pictures and writes facts in his book.

It has been great! Just finding out if an animal changes with weather temperatures, brings in science.
