National Public Gardens Day - Free Admission!

Take your kids on a fun, free homeschool field trip to a botanical garden near you and celebrate National Public Gardens Day.

National Public Gardens Day is always on the Friday before Mother's Day; the next one is on May 9, 2014. Public gardens, botanical gardens, educational gardens, specialty gardens, entertainment gardens, arboreta, farm gardens, historical landscapes, and zoos participate in their own unique way. Many host special events and activities for families, as well as people of all ages.

Better Homes and Gardens, one of the sponsors of National Public Gardens Day, is offering two free admission tickets, to some wonderful botanical gardens throughout the US.
