My Father's World Homeschool Kindergarten Curriculum

I am a new homeschool mom and was not sure where to even begin with choosing a curriculum. I researched many different kindergarten curriculums before deciding on My Father's World. I was looking for a curriculum that would help both of my children as I have twins and they learn VERY differently. My Father's World (MFW) seemed to combine both styles of learning. So we decided we would give it a try. After a month of using it, I can say we love it! Both children are excelling and are enjoying it fully. When one is struggling he/she doesn't get too discouraged because he/she knows the area where they excel will be coming up during the same week's lesson. They are learning to strive to do well in all aspects whether it is their strong area or weak area. As for teaching the curriculum, it is so easy! MFW literally spells out everything for you so all you have to do is gather materials from the local library and start your weekly lesson. Each lesson is 6 days worth. The students really get a good solid foundation for the letter and sound before moving on to the next letter and sound. I couldn't be happier with this curriculum. The alphabet, numbers, reading, math, science, history, and the Bible are all rolled up into one wonderful curriculum to excite the child in every area of "school". Yay!
