My Father's World Curriculum
Learn more about My Father's World curriculum and why this mom and her three boys love this homeschooling unit study program...I am still fairly new to homeschooling having only homeschooled the past two years. However, both of those years I have used My Father's World curriculum, the first year starting with Adventures in My Father's World and now this past year using Exploring Countries and Cultures (ECC).
My three boys as well as I love My Father’s World curriculum. It puts Bible, History, Science and often times include art/ music into a unit study. The packages include all the books you will need for the year so you don't have to go hunting at the library for the right book, yet it gives you extra suggestions in the back in case you like the hunt for additional material.
There is a lot of read aloud time, many days my voice was horse from so much reading, but my boys love when this time comes. They crowd to look at the pictures and usually beg for me to read more.
My favorite part of the ECC curriculum was how they incorporated a book Windows to the World into Bible time. The portion in the book we read was based on the country/ continent we were studying in history at that time. In history, we learned much of the geographic, topical, agricultural side of the continent, but with this particular book it opened up the spiritual needs of those places and how we could better pray for them as we studied.
Now going into year three of homeschooling, we are excited to start the MFW Creation to the Greeks curriculum.
