Fun Free Stuff for Homeschoolers from Six Flags!
Enjoy more fun, free stuff for homeschoolers compliments of Six Flags theme parks...
Read to Succeed is a free educational program sponsored by Six Flags to inspire kids in grades K through 6 to engage in recreational reading. Students who complete six hours of recreational, nonschool-related reading are eligible to earn a free admission ticket to a participating Six Flags theme park. Teachers (including home educators) whose classes participate and complete the program are also eligible to earn a free ticket.
Please Note: Your home school must be within a 250-mile radius of a participating Six Flags theme park in order to participate.
Homeschool registration for the 2011-2012 Six Flags Read to Succeed program will re-open early November. Until then, your student/s can still begin the program even though registration is not available yet.
You can register online and starting January 2012, you will be able to enter your student's reading hours online - a nice change from previous years. All hours must be logged by March 2, 2012. One ticket per student and your tickets will be issued by the middle of May 2012. Tickets have an expiration date; they must be used during the summer of 2012.
