MODG Advanced Government Homeschool Review

MODG Advanced Government Homeschool Review

I highly recommend Mother of Divine Grace (MODG)'s Advanced American Government syllabus. This syllabus is geared for upper high school students and is an in depth, accelerated course on the U.S. Constitution and how it was founded.

Unlike most other American government syllabi, Advanced American Government utilizes a wide range of philosophical material such as Alexis deTocqueville's Democracy in America, the Federalist and Anti-Federalist Papers, and Aquinas' Summa Theologica. Advanced American Government also uses books such as Economics in One Lesson by Milton Friedman and Whatever Happened to Penny Candy to give simple, comprehensive explanations for issues such as inflation.

MODG's Advanced American Government syllabus is an excellent choice for families who want to learn the details of the formation U.S. government and constitution.
