Trying Monarch Online Homeschool Curriculum
I LOVED homeschooling my K-1st grade daughter but had to quit when my husband was injured and unable to work. After two years we are returning to homeschooling (with great joy) but the school social worker has already visited and objected. I want to use Monarch online homeschool curriculum so I can "prove" my 4th grade daughter is in "school" and refuse to use the state-school options! I also have a kindergartner who entered K last year with positive comments about her ability to write/spell/count and ended up a year later barely able to spell her own name, confidence crushed, and told she must repeat Kindergarten! I need options that my kids love AND it is obvious they ARE in school! We tried Lifepacs in grade 1 but found them tedious and below her level. I have high hopes for AOP academy/Monarch but feel apprehensive as of the reviews. However...since I just paid for it today... I hope it works!!! Hi Jennifer!
