My children and I started using Math-U-See homeschool math curriculum last year and we have loved it, especially for my youngest daughter who started this program in kindergarten. I love the way students are taught using manipulatives, and that Math-U-See makes sure the children have mastered each new skill.

Math-U-See dedicates one book to teaching mainly one skill. The Alpha deals with addition, the Beta deals with subtraction, Gamma with multiplication, Delta with division and so forth.

Each new lesson is taught on a CD and the student and parent watch it together. The student then goes on to do three pages of the new skill and three pages of review (only one side to each page). I highly recommend taking a look this homeschool math curriculum.
