Math U See Homeschool Math Curriculum Review and Tips

We absolutely LOVE Math U See homeschool math curriculum. It is so easy use, and the kids enjoy it very much. It is fairly inexpensive as well, so it can easily fit into the budget. The manipulatives are not cheap, but they are worth every penny, especially in the younger years.

Each lesson has six pages of problems and a test. The first three pages are focused on just that lesson. The next three pages are that lesson, plus review. I have my children do the first page. If they don't miss any, then they skip to the first review page. If they again don't miss any, they go on to the next lesson. If they miss any problems, they do the next page rather than skipping. If they have trouble with a concept, they do all the pages on that lesson, plus they use the tools on Math U See's website.
