Include Working Parent in Time-Management & Homeschooling Strategy

Our 3 Little Cuties

Our 3 Little Cuties

Busy homeschooling and work-at-home mom shares some tips to help your growing family work together and homeschool successfully.

In addition to following all of the above tips, we also have found ways to get Daddy more involved all of the action at night and on the weekends.

What works best for us at this time is for him to do most of the errands.

Also, on certain nights, Dad takes over the evening portion of the lessons, and on other nights he watches our pre-schooler while our older kids do more focused/intense work with mommy.

Because Mommy is also a WAHM, Dad does some of the chores and homeschooling on his day off so that Mommy can get work done.

Every family has to do what works for them in that season. And season's change, in a year, we'll probably have a totally different flow.

Be flexible. Take it easy on yourself and on your family. Just enjoy your days and make the most of them. No one is setting any deadlines or goals for you but you...don't let that unhealthy perfectionism and competition make your family miserable. You are the one in control, so you can make it flow whatever way you need to, and you can change the flow whenever you need to.

Relax, have fun, and enjoy your family.
