Homeschooling Kindergarten? Mom of two shares why Time4Learning was the perfect curriculum choice for her young daughters...

When my daughter was three, and again when she was four, she attended a local, private preschool. While she enjoyed playing with the other children at the playground, and she liked her teachers, she was bored academically. I really had no expectations for the academics, viewing it more as a social experience, but she wanted to learn and this hunger wasn't being met.

I signed her up for time4learning.com. She found the preschool lessons to be too easy for her, so we tried out the kindergarten lessons, and my daughter took off! She loved that it was self-paced, and she could go through as many lessons as she wanted. I appreciated that the website kept track of how well she did the "graded" portion of each lesson, so we could go back over it together if more work was needed.

This was two years ago, and I am now homeschooling my other daughter, who just turned four. We are using time4learning because she is interested, and are using it at her pace. She is enjoying the animations and the lessons, and I am pleased that she, too, is getting a strong foundation for reading.
