Homeschooling Kindergarten: Phonics Pathways Works

Homeschooling Kindergarten Mom Loves Phonics Pathways

First time homeschool mom says Phonics Pathways works and is an affordable option for homeschooling kindergarten or beginning readers...

Last year was my first year homeschooling kindergarten. I researched and reviewed about a dozen different phonics programs before choosing to use Phonics Pathways.

I have to say that Phonics Pathways has been a very easy to use and very frugal option for those who are trying to homeschool on a tight budget (I paid $15 for my book after a Border's coupon and Borders Bucks).

The program is one book that you use for the whole entire time that you are teaching your child to read. The book has suggestions and reproducibles for games.

The program is so easy to use because you can set your own pace to teach. If your child needs more work in one area, slow down and review until he/she gets it. If your little student is a fast learner, you can skip some of the extra practice sections and shorten the reading lists.

I am very pleased with our progress this year and plan to use Phonics Pathways for my preschooler when he is ready to learn to read.

Great review of Phonics Pathways, Stacy! Thanks for sharing this affordable options with other parents who are homeschooling kindergarten, or who are teaching their young child to read. Blessings, Heather :)
