Homeschooling Kindergarten Curriculum Question

New York mom has a homeschooling Kindergarten curriculum question...My son is five and was supposed to enter kindergarten this year but because of a rare bone disease that he has and the school not being able to accommodate him right now I have made the decision to homeschool my son, I have many kindergarten workbooks and cd roms. My only question is can I use what I already have to teach my son or do I have to buy a curriculum? Thank you so much.
Hi Shevon,
You don't have to buy a specific homeschooling kindergarten curriculum to teach your son at home. You can use the materials you have. I know that New York has some homeschooling requirements you need to follow - registering, submitting an IHIP, etc. If you haven't already done so, you will want to familiarize yourself with them.
