Homeschooling Help: What Should I Do?
I have a 15 year old who missed to much school and I don't know what to do. She is already far behind! She is scared that she won't be able to go to High School with the rest of her friends. What should we do about that? Hi Yolanda, You can hire a tutor who can help your daughter get caught up to where she needs to be. You can also homeschool her for the rest of the year. If she puts her mind to it, I am sure she can complete 8th grade and start high school in the fall. You will find a variety of support groups and educational opportunities for homeschooling families in Austin, Texas. Who knows? Maybe you both will like homeschooling so much, you will continue to do it for high school. I am not sure if you will be using the curriculum from your daughter's school. Often its hard to use these materials because you don't have the teacher's manual and all the items that go along with the course.
