Homeschooling Families on the Mission Field

Shipping Homeschool Curriculum Overseas = $$$

Shipping Homeschool Curriculum Overseas = $$$

Hi There,
I just read your post about sharing homeschool curriculum, and wanted to remind you (or your readers) that many missionary families homeschool, and could definitely use donations of used homeschool materials.

I'm sure if a database were set up, missionary families would be most grateful to receive curriculum donations. Buying a year's worth of homeschool curriculum for a family of children AND having it shipped overseas is VERY costly.

Your site is great. I just stumbled on it looking for used homeschool curriculum savings!

Jane, what a great idea! If a homeschooling missionary wants to send me their information, via my "Contact Me" form, I can post it to my website.

They must include their name, email address, what organization they are with, the country they're serving in, and curriculum specifics - subjects, grades, and publisher, or if they are flexible as to the publisher.

Interested home educators can then contact the missionary to ask further questions and arrange shipping, etc.

I would like the missionary families to help me to keep their information up-to-date and notify me when they are no longer serving overseas.

Blessings, Heather :)
