Homeschool Transcript Template Question

Homeschool Transcript Template Help

Homeschool Transcript Template Help

My oldest is graduating from high school and I downloaded your homeschool transcript template. I don't know what to put in the "type" box. Is that for whether it was a HS or a dual credit course? Or is it for Math, History, English? He has taken dual credits at the community college, so I'm not sure how to handle that either.

Thank you for all your help. This should make my life much easier.

Hi Karen,
The "type" field is for Math, History, English, etc. With dual credits, I would record the course for the year he took it - even though it might be a three hour college class, it only will count as a one credit hour high school class.

My daughter took a college-level American History class last year. It was three college credit hours, but we will only give her one high school credit.

There is a section on the transcript where you can add the community college and the year/s he attended.

Let me know if you have any other questions.
Blessings,
Heather

PS Here is a completed home school transcript; it will give you a good idea of what information to put where. :)
