Homeschool Room Organization

by Sheila
(Scranton, PA)

Increase organization in your homeschool room with a little summer-time pre-planning...

I homeschool five children, in grades 12, 9 (twins), 2, and 1. I put a five-shelf book shelf in my dining room, and gave each child their own shelf to keep their books and papers on. This seems to work very well.

I also get their work ready during the summer-time and put it all in a three-ring binder. During the year, they have all their worksheets or tests at their finger tips to use as they need them.

This worked so well last year, I am doing it again this year. It is a lot of work in the summer, but school-time goes smooth, no running around last minute, copying pages during school for them.
