Starfall Homeschool Kindergarten Curriculum
Last year I found a great program to begin my youngest in Kindergarten. The name of the program is Starfall. Last year was the first year that Starfall had a full homeschool Kindergarten curriculum. After looking over this curriculum, I found it was a perfect fit for my daughter. The program was sensitive to the differences that each child may present with while learning. Whether ADHD, learning disabilities or ELD, Starfall homeschool reading programs use many different approaches each day to help the child master the material. Because of the many tools within the program along with the available on-line programs, my daughter was never bored. As a homeschool mom with only one homeschooler, it was nice to have the little Starfall stuffed animal characters to fill in as imaginary school friends. This too help to make learning fun. The Starfall Characters were not just characters out of the Starfall books, they now came "alive" in her everyday learning. We still have these characters in our school room this year. That was how I found this great program and of course fell in love with the program. Here your child can learn her ABC's, read stories, and meet some of the Starfall Characters. Also there is a link for parents to view the Full Starfall Kindergarten Reading and Language Arts Curriculum. This program includes some social studies and science. The whole program can be purchased for a little more than $300.00 including a teaching guide with step by step instructions.
