Not only will you have a nice suit to wear for your prom night, you will also be ready for other dressy events during the year like weddings, dances, parties, or just to wear to church.Don't have the money to buy a new suit? Borrow, or buy one at a used clothing store. Most teens do not wear suits these days. If you do find one at a thrift store, most often they will look like they were never worn. Guys go through growth spurts during their teen years; what fits today often doesn't fit tomorrow, so into the donation pile it goes! Girl's Money-saving TipsProm dresses are fun to wear and shop for, but the price can break your budget. You could spend a nice chunk of change on a new prom dress that you will only wear once.Or, you could save your money and buy a used one at your local thrift or second hand store. Most dresses that you find used have only been worn once, for a few hours. You will only have to spend a little on dry cleaning, or if you can wash it by hand, you will save even more.
