Homeschool Grammar Review: Shurley Grammar 2

I am sold on Shurley Homeschool Grammar after using it with my 2nd grader. At first I was resistant to singing the jingles and repeating the chants so often but did do them faithfully twice weekly. By the end of the year my daughter could identify parts of speech (adverbs, adjectives, nouns, pronouns, verbs, articles, prepositions and objects of prepositions) significantly better than my older children!

With Shurley grammar we got to see some of the benefits of the classical model firsthand - lots of repetition and data collection for the young years followed by use and understanding as they mature.

Highly recommended homeschool grammar program for the younger years (1st-4th grades would be my choice).
