Homeschool Geography, History and More
Looking for a fun, hands-on homeschool geography and history unit study curriculum for your whole family? Check out Around the World in 180 Days!Around the World in 180 Days is a curriculum that covers history, geography, writing, etc.
The approach is notebooking and workbook but expands well beyond. They suggest it to be at least a two year program but can be used well beyond two years as your child studies and adds to their binders.
Around the World in 180 Days covers each continent starting with Africa. It can be used for younger students, ex. 2nd grade all the way through highschool, and even gives suggestions for what each level of child might be capable of doing.
The price is SO reasonable and you could use Around the World in 180 Days as your history or homeschool geography curriculum for years. I didn't mind spending the extra money for extra workbooks for each of my kids because I will end up saving so much.
My children really enjoy this curriculum and have learned a lot in using it... The curriculum really allows you to add a personal touch while giving you direction.
For example when my son wrote a report on poaching in Africa, we watched the movie Gorilla's in the Mist, which is about Diane Fossey and he work with the Gorilla's in Africa.
I am looking forward to all the use my family will get out of this curriculum and highly recommend it.
Hi Jessica! Thanks for suggesting this homeschool geography and history curriculum to other families. My family (preK - high school) is going to be using "Around the World in 180 Days" this year too. After taking a break from family-style unit studies, we are excited about going through this study and learning together. Enjoy! Blessings, Heather :)Find discounted copies of
