Home School vs Public School: What Should I Do?

Home School vs Public School Questions

Home School vs Public School Questions

Unsure mom is torn between home school vs public school for her seven year old daughter. Can you help?

My daughter is 7 in the second grade, and she wanted to go to public school. So I found one of the best public schools in our county and now I don't know if I did the right thing. Me and my husband talked and prayed about it but I don't know.

She has just started she told me that the work was too hard. Do I put her in first grade are do I take her out and find a better homeschooling curriculum? If I put her back a grade does that really mess with the her self esteem? Maybe I didn't do a good job. I need help!

Pray for Wisdom
by: Diane Clarke

I know how you feel and so do most homeschoolers. I have struggled with many questions and many doubts and still do. My advice to you is to go with your gut feeling! Let the Holy spirit lead you as you and your husband pray. You are on the right track. As you know, it is very important that you get your husbands support and you both agree on your decision to homeschool or not to. After you pray,go with what is in your heart and God will honor it! If you and your husband do decide to homeschool,I strongly encourage you to get into a homeschooling support group. I just joined one this summer an it has been a tremendous blessing for my two sons and me. If I can help you in any way, you can email me at adclarke60@yahoo.com I will pray for you and your family. Sincerely,Diane Clarke
