Turn Your Home School Science
Struggles into Success!

Are you struggling with teaching home school science? It’s easy to focus on the three R’s – reading, writing and arithmetic, but teaching science can make some of us quake in our home educating boots!

Whether it’s from lack of confidence or not knowing what to do or where to start, science is an area that many home educators struggle with.

For years, science was our least favorite, or should I say, my least favorite subject.

The Law of What?

homeschool science What do I remember about high school science? Not much, honestly!

I think that is why science was close to non-existent in our home, for many years. I had forgotten all about Newton’s Laws (sorry, Sir Isaac), gravity, light, most of my chemistry, and all of my high school physics.

Most people tend to naturally move towards their strengths or what comes easy to them and avoid their weaknesses. I was no different.

When I first started homeschooling, I decided to abandon traditional home schooling text book lessons, in favor of home school unit studies for our family. I could teach both children easily, at the same time.

With the unit study I chose, I had to create all our lessons using a given outline. We had fun but it took a lot of extra time for me to plan our day.

Avoid Homeschool Science Failure!

I had to gather all our home school material, books, and supplies together, to complete the unit study each week.

Many times I did not have time to properly focus on science. We would read books, write papers but doing experiments or hands-on activities quickly slid to the bottom of my list.

Who has battery packs, circuits, litmus paper, or PTC strips lying around in their broom closet or storage cupboard?

I would look at the lengthy list of items needed to complete an experiment and cross off the ones we couldn’t do... which happened to be most of them!

Our home school became dry and lifeless and I felt like a complete failure!

Finally, I gave up and looked for a complete science curriculum package. One that was user friendly, with easy to do, hands-on projects and lots of fun experiments!

Build Your Confidence.

Purchasing a complete science program provides a convenient and affordable solution for busy parents who don’t have time to waste.

Look for homeschool science curriculum with complete lessons, materials list and experiments will save you loads of time.

It was the perfect solution for my science challenged brain, eliminating my frustration and my children’s disappointment.

We started doing science again – I mean real science with exciting experiments, using test tubes, droppers, beakers and everything!

I started to feel more confident that my children were building a solid science foundation for higher learning.

We went from book knowledge to real life learning and practical application. My children were able to see the concepts they were studying, come to life!

Now that is home schooling!
