Heart of Dakota Homesc hool Curriculum Review

Heart of Dakota homeschool curriculum review: Mom of three homeschooling boys shares why she uses "Little Hands to Heaven" and "Bigger Hearts for His Glory" with her sons.

I am currently using Little Hands with my 6yo boy and thoroughly enjoying it! Just the right amount of time for his attention span (15-20 min.) Great and fun way to learn sounds and all of the basics. I am also using Bigger Hearts with two boys - 8 and 11.

My younger son is using the beginning readers books and my older one is using the extension package. Once again it is a great fit for the two of them - especially the older who has had a difficult time reading. More than once he has started a book only to say, "...it's ok." to finishing a book and saying, "Mom, that one was really Good!" Encouraging to him and me.

Our biggest surprise and like is the poetry! Each week they get to orate it to their brothers any way they want - fun to hear and see them working on their speaking. Orr 13 yo joins in on these also. Overall it is a great fit for our family and is truly "open and go."
