Hands Of A Child Homeschool Curriculum Review

by Nancy Jozwick

Hands-on Homeschool Curriculum

Hands-on Homeschool Curriculum

If you are looking for a homeschool curriculum that is "Learning Made Fun", Hands of a Child is it! Hands of a Child (HOAC) is a lapbooking curriculum. Lapbooking is similar to scrapbooking; it is very hands-on and FUN!

I began using this curriculum about eight years ago. We decided to homeschool but did not want to do the "school at home" book stuff. One of the things we liked most about HOAC is that they are written so that you can use them with pretty much any grade you are teaching with very little adjustment. So you can purchase one lapbook and use it for several grades. We used it totally for everything except English and Math for which we chose to do traditional books.

I totally love the way HOAC is set up; they offer the lapbooks in several different forms. You may order a hard copy or an ebook and print it off yourself. This is what I prefer because I can download it in a matter of minutes after ordering. You can order complete kits or you can do them yourself. You choose what you want to study and when, so if your child decides they want to learn about a specific subject, you can order that. You do not have to order a certain number of lapbooks at one time. Pick and choose; that makes it more fun for everyone!

The cost is one of the most economic homeschool curriculums I have ever used. You can purchase one lapbook and can use it for any number of children or grades!

HOAC offers a super membership where the perks are too many to describe! One of the best perks; they offer free lapbooks to members.

PLUS you will not find a more dedicated group of ladies that are so willing to help you in anyway they can! The customer service is far above any that you could ever need or desire.

Nancy, thanks so much for the wonderful homeschool curriculum review of Hands of a Child. I know other home educators and teachers will find your comments very helpful. My youngest daughter and I love lapbooking too; what a great way to learn! Blessings, Heather :)
