Home school organization isn't easy when you have little ones at home. Here's another great tip to help you teach multi-aged children effectively...

Thanks for the article. I have 3 kids at home, and it is hard to balance them. The youngest is 2, and sometimes, we find it hard to work around her needs. Our oldest turns 6 next week, so all of our children are very young. Your ideas will be helpful.

One thing I would add to your list: find opportunities to isolate a child for special attention. We have date nights for our kids. Each kid gets one night a month, and we use this for special projects and school related lessons that meet that child's needs. The other kids are in bed at that time.

Great tip! Many times date nights get overlooked when our schedule gets busy or we get tired. Make sure you schedule them first, before other commitments. Your children will anticipate and cherish the time together. (Don't forget to go on dates with your spouse too - the most important PERSON in your life!)
